Finding Bigfoot Series Finale

Is ‘Finding Bigfoot’ Returning to Television?

Finding Bigfoot has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I always loved hearing first-hand accounts, and seeing recreations. I also enjoyed the team going out to sort of debunk the account – try to gauge height of the alleged creature, where it may have gone, or what else it could have been.

Ghost Hunters canceled?

‘Ghost Hunters’ Canceled Again?

Funnily enough, I don’t really follow Ghost Hunters news. But every now and then, I come across some, mostly by accident. Honestly, I stopped watching the show after the second season, when things started getting really ridiculous, and the show mutated from seemingly serious paranormal investigations – where they hardly found any evidence and Jason […]

Ghost Hunters Update! For Real This Time!

For years now, there’s been speculation about when Ghost Hunters would return to the airwaves. Jason Hawes has been a bit cagey about why SyFy dumped the show back in 2016, and he’s been dropping hints for a long time that the show would return. And in early April, it was officially announced that a […]

UFOs Are Real, Says Former US Defense Official

For those of us with an interest in UFOs and the paranormal, the idea of the US government having knowledge of and interactions with unidentified flying objects is nothing new. We’ve listened to the witnesses, many of whom have been ex-military personnel and officers. The evidence has been there, but the government has always denied […]

Bigfoot: In Your State?

Bigfoot: In Your State?

You might recognize this iconic Bigfoot footage: The Patterson-Gimlin Film (1967). Ever since this movie came out, people all over have declared they have seen the bipedal giant. However, stories of the creature go further back than the 1960s. Native American tribes have been sharing Bigfoot stories for centuries. In the Kwakiutl tribe, they tell […]

TV Review: In Search Of…

Whenever the inevitable question comes up regarding what first got me interested in the paranormal, my answer is always the same: the old In Search Of… television show hosted by Leonard Nimoy. In fact, I even make reference to it here on the blog in my bio. In Search Of… was a syndicated TV series that ran from 1977 to […]

John Podesta on “Ancient Aliens,” says Hillary Would Have Declassified UFO Info

With a few rare exceptions, I don’t even approach anything political here on the blog, since I like to create a fun space and we are already bombarded daily by political garbage from pretty much every other news and social media outlet in existence. But how could I resist this completely bonkers story? I’ll summarize, […]

“Finding Bigfoot” Ends its Run on Animal Planet’s Monster Week

The Animal Planet show Finding Bigfoot has long been a guilty pleasure of mine. Sure, they never do actually “find” Bigfoot, but they do make a lot of noise, as well as a lot of jokes, while looking for him. My interest in the show was always less about the four main cast members from […]

Year in Review 2017

The Year In Review: 2017

And just like that, it’s 2018. The past year was a bit of a wild ride for the world, and unfortunately I didn’t get around to posting much on the blog, for a variety of reasons. I’m really not big on the whole “New Year’s Resolution” thing, but I really do need to make a […]

Terror in the Woods Destination America

TV Review: Terror in the Woods

Over the years, I haven’t been very kind to Destination America and their parade of paranormal drivel. At best, shows like A Haunting have been guilty pleasures of mine, something to put on in the background when I take a nap on a sick day; at worst, they have given us abominations like Mountain Monsters […]
